Will also develop and maintain productive relationships with MIT’s OSATT catalyst team, inventors, strategic transactions team, alliance managers, the Office of Corporate Relations, external parties such as corporate representatives, and other partners in the surrounding MIT and regional innovation ecosystem. Will work very closely with other TLO staff, including the supervision of designated technology licensing associates (TLAs) or associate licensing officers (AOs). Responsibilities include identifying and assessing the commercial potential of new inventions, identifying potential licensees either in established or startup companies, marketing inventions, negotiating license and other agreements, and strategic management of the patenting process.
